maintenance team member

Ardovino's Desert Crossing is seeking a full-time maintenance team member. The Maintenance team member performs general maintenance of the property, facilities, equipment, vehicles, power tools, and grounds, along with related duties as assigned.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Troubleshoot minor electrical, structural, plumbing, and equipment problems; repair or replace components as needed.

  • Perform preventive maintenance on buildings and equipment, including routine and non-routine electrical repairs.

  • Maintain and clean HVAC systems, refrigerators, freezers, ice machines, kitchen and bar equipment, washers, and dryers as scheduled on maintenance calendar.

  • Assist in researching for supplies, equipment, and materials as needed.

  • Repair or replace door knobs, locks, window blinds, damaged walls, chairs, benches, and patio furnishings.

  • Paint and maintain interior and exterior walls and floors.

  • Move, store, and set up tables, chairs, dance floors, and other equipment for restaurant and banquet events.

  • Operate and maintain motorized grounds equipment, including push mowers, string trimmers, and blowers.

  • Maintain timers and valves.

  • Look for opportunities to improve operations and streamline processes.

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

  • At least 2 years of experience in trades related to building maintenance and repair.

  • At least 1 year of experience maintaining and repairing machinery, equipment, and tools used in daily restaurant operations.

  • Knowledge of occupational hazards and safety precautions.

  • Ability to read and follow daily maintenance logs, schedules, event setup schedules, and assembly instructions.

  • Proficiency with hand and power tools.

  • Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with staff and the public.

  • Effective oral and written communication skills.

    We're looking for a candidate with at least 2 years of HVAC experience. Applicants with EPA, NATE, or other recognized HVAC certifications will be considered for higher starting pay based on their qualifications.

    PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
    This position involves moderate to heavy work in varying weather conditions. The employee must be able to walk long distances throughout the property, stand for extended periods, stoop, lift and carry objects weighing up to 50 pounds, and perform other similar physical tasks during the workday.

    COMPENSATION
    Starting Pay $18.50 per hour or Based On Experience
